The cake's a pretty basic chocolate and has chocolate icing in the middle.

The outer icing is made predominantly of food colouring it seems, but with a bit of sugar there to hold it together (well, it felt that way when we were making it!)

We then cut out the white parts from royal icing and then piped on the black parts. It was surprisingly tasty!
