This is my first attempt at making a cake.
I'm pretty impressed with the outcome for never having done this before.
Aside from some helpful hints and tips from my wonderful wife I did the entire cake myself.

I made 2 8x8 cakes and layered them with a run of icing in the middle then I carved them into shape.
The Icing is whipped cream cheese icing and regular white icing with food coloring.
The cake is a "funfetti" store bought cake mix.

This project took me most of the day but it was great fun.
It's inspired from my wife's shirt, ever since this design appeared we've both loved this image.

I hope you all enjoy my cake.
