I started by making all of the little fruit people out of gum paste and then piping on their faces with some chocolate and vanilla frosting. Then I baked a single layered white cake and covered it with green vanilla frosting. Then I put all of the fruits on the cake and piped their rhyme in a speech bubble next to them and added some tears for mr. orange. It probably took about 5 hours total but I spaced it out over a couple of days. It was pretty delicious when I took the first bite out of it.
