So, this is my first cake contest and I must say, I just had a blast. I chose this design cause I'm a huge fan all things Japanese and baby Godzilla just jumped out at me!

The process began Sunday afternoon around 4pm. My son and I love to bake together so we got everything together and started the baking process. I used a Cherry Chip box cake which I altered by adding vanilla pudding and melted white chocolate. While the cake was baking, I sculpted baby Godzilla and the cars out of fondant. My son even made a few cars too! Once the cake was baked and cooled, I covered it with white fondant and brushed it with pink luster dust.

As you'll see, the cake was a big hit in my office break room (course they love it when I bring in any cake! LOL).
