My friend Shima's husband, Ram, loves Threadless and it was his birthday this past weekend. Ram and Shima are the coolest couple I know so I decided that my Threadcake entry will be made for Ram's birthday. Ram owns many Threadless t-shirts, but most of them involved designs that I cannot emulate in cake form because of my limited cake decorating skills. So I picked this toast design, which is a shirt owned by Ram's brother, Krishna.

I started by making an 8-inch square chocolate cake, which is then covered with vanilla buttercream frosting. Once chilled, I carved out the shape of the toast and wrapped it in flesh-tone fondant.
