This was my first year doing a Threadless cake, after a friend introduced me to it. It was a lot of fun and good way to challenge myself.
I made the cake over a three day period, taking time with the gumpaste details.
I choose this design because it is very cute and I could just imagine the octopus at work. So I decided to bring it to life! He has to talk on the phone, look after the baby, cook, clean and do the chores...
Makes us all wish we had 8 arms sometimes!
