Description
My friends and I set up a day to bake up some cakes for this contest not knowing how arduous this cake baking process is. Our wonderful culinary student Cintya baked up a delicious chocolate cake with buttercream filling. We wanted to try making our own fondant so we made some marshmallow fondant containing enough sugar to hype up a couple small children.
We colored and rolled the fondant for a long time for covering the tv, puddle and base. We tried making as many colors as we could (coloring takes quite a while). I painted the lines on the t.v. with some food coloring and vodka. :)
We learned that fondant is dangerously sweet.
