Lunar Phases of Sleep

I saw this design and thought it was ideal for cupcakes, so I made a batch of twelve lemony cupcakes. I then made some white jasmine-flavoured sugarpaste (sticky business) to cover the cakes with, planning to colour the rest of the icing black to make the 'blankets'. However, as the icing didn't colour terribly well beyond gray (or at least not without more than the recommended amount of food colouring), I decided to paint on the food colouring instead. I made the hands out of the grey sugarpaste. I am not entirely happy with the finish (how *do* they do that?) but they're tasty enough.
