Description
Loved this design straight away, I started this with round chocolate cakes, 2 stacked together with a small step down cutout in center of the top one and sloped the cakes down at the edges.
The back wall i made with cut out circle halves which I stacked together.
I made trees ahead of time, attached them to skewers and let dry for a couple of days, I then airbrushed them dark browns and black.
I modeled the little girl and bear from black modelling chocolate.
The base cake was covered in a black fondant and the back wall cake was covered in marbled blues and green, the moon was a separate circle painted gold and then glittered too.
The leaves for the trees were rice bubbles which I airbrushed black in a bowl, I wet the trees with syrup and dipped them into the rice bubbles to attach the leaves.
I then put it all together, the trees into the base and hanging over the wall, I made moss by pressing fondant through a sieve, I scattered leaves all over and added some fondant vines too.
In went the bear and the little girl and a steam shined it all up, my 7 year old enjoyed munching into this.
All in all worked here and there over a week and loved every minute of it :)
