Relative Speed

This is my second attempt on a threadcake this year.

First one failed horribly when I thought I could make it without no internal support at all.
The next day the poor deer heads was fallen off.

So with the help of my handy husband, I was armed with better internal structure and a new design for the second attempt.

This one gave me a lot of trouble aswell, especially the isomalt glasses that kept melting due to humidity and eventually falling off :-/

However I had lots of fun making it!

It was a madeira cake with a delicious dark chocolate ganache :)
