Description
This cake was more of a challenge than I had anticipated. It took 2 days, one baking day and one decorating day. It's edible from start to finish.
The head and feet are made from cake layers that I stacked and then carved into shape. The legs and arms are mini marshmallows, glued together with almond bark. the hands and the lighter are fondant. The weight from the left hand gave me some trouble, thus I incorporated the green back ground to help hold it up. The back ground is poured, green sugar.
It was pretty sad when I finally cut into the cake. After spending so much time with it, I really didn't want to eat it anymore. However friends disagreed and the entire thing was consumed by the end of the night, with many rumbles of tasty praise.
