Description
In four years working at a bakery, no one has ever ordered a Star Fox cake. This is a travesty. Fortunately, Threadcakes gave me an excuse to make the cake of my dreams.
The three tiers are vanilla bean and chocolate cake layered with vanilla buttercream. The fondant is airbrushed black, pelted with white nonpareils, and painted with luster dusts in various colors. The planets and two-dimensional characters are dye-painted fondant, and the frog is made from sculpted, fondant-covered rice treat.
