There were so many designs to choose from. I went with Frankie because I've always wanted
To sculpt a head and it was Halloween weekend. This was such a fun project! I started by baking 4 yellow butter cakes. 3 six inch rounds for the head and one 5 inch round for the neck. I baked the cakes on Friday.. Decorated on Saturday and ate him on Sunday. His shoulders were made out of a piece of foam cut to shape and the. Internals support was an 5/8 inch dowel screwed into a wooden plaque. I hot glued a piece of foam core on top of the foam core so the cake could be place on top of it. I tried to take as many pictures as I could. Y daughter had a great time helping me. She took lots of the pics. This hair and body are covered in black modeling chocolate.
