RED

I started modeling the figure of Red about a week before. The rest of the details took about 2 and a half days. The cake is a for tiered half circle topped with a cake-pop mixture of cake balls to shape the top of the tree. The cake was then covered with fondant and airbrushed to create the background of the image. Red is "dressed" in fondant. I cut a hounds tooth shape out of a pencil eraser to stamp the cape. The basket was crafted with fondant using an impression mat of basket weave, and a stencil to make the check blanket. The gun is gum paste. The flowers are make of wafer paper airbrushed red, dusted with black and with a wire and flower stamen center.
