Description
This is the first time ever, that I'm joining a cake contest. First I went through every (yes, EVERY) design but with this Simpsons design it was love a first sight! I knew before hand that re-creating this design in a cake wasn't going to be easy.
Creating the figures (they are made out of mix of modeling chocolate and fondant) took me eleven days and today was the day to transfer them to the cake. The cake is a purple carrot cake, with a filling of white chocolate mascarpone ganache and a creamy fudge.
After blood, sweat and loads of tears this is the final result and after eleven days it tastes like the best reward to receive!
