Description
This is my first rodeo with Threadcakes and gum paste. I am entering the 2D category because: It is a stacked cake that is only sculpted in the front, there are no fancy supports except a couple of skewers to hold it steady, and there are less entrees here.
The thing took about 3 hours a day for most of 2 weeks mostly because of difficulty with floral wire. It looks so easy in the videos. Who knew that the wrapping was food safe, but the wire was NOT.
Friends and family were happy to have a Halloween cake.
