I've been doing cakes for about four years, I've apprenticed under some great cake artists and I'm working on building up my own portfolio to do more in my own business! Sculpted cakes are my favourite to work on, for this cake I printed the image, increased the size of the original then made templates for all the individual pieces. Which took the most time, the cake itself is vanilla sugar with a salted caramel buttercream, chocolate ganache covered in fondant with gumpaste pieces.
