Lovely Leopard

Description
This is my second entry to Threadcakes and my first year entering. I am so excited to get the entry in as I found the design just the day before the competition closed. When I saw him I fell in love his little hearts are just so adorable while he is still fierce.
The only support is a straw and 3 toothpicks.
The cake is orange chocolate flavour, the ganache I infused the cream with orange rind and made that into a beautiful orange chocolate flavour ganache the the fondant is homemade marshmallow fondant.
This cake was so much fun I did have to add alot on to the cheeks when I realised he was just too thin and looked more like a dog.
All up the caketook around 4hours 2.5 of those hours were hand painting all his little hearts.
The cake was delicious my son said it was spectacular haha he was so excited seeing this Leopard coming together and couldn't wait to eat him all up!!
