Description
Cake: yellow cake with buttercream frosting
This cake took approximately five hours to bake the cakes, make the frosting, roll the fondant and shape the figures out of gum paste. The cake layers were filled with buttercream and the cake covered in fondant. The fish is made out of gumpaste and painted with a wet food pigment. the water around the fish is a tinted buttercream with royal icing detail. The birds were done in chocolate and suspended on skewers.
