YGB

I had planned with my boyfriend's parents to surprise him for his birthday. He loves threadless, and they bought him the YGB t-shirt. As a co-conspirator, I got busy baking. I made two coconut layer cakes, two coconut cupcakes, and one chocolate brownie layer. I stuck the layers together with chocolate frosting and covered in a swirled blue and white icing. Then I decorated the cupcakes as a sun and a cloud with coloured frosting. Finally, I molded some gum paste into the tree (With my own addition-a few apples), as well as the watering cans and water.
He loved the cake, but had a really hard time cutting the first slice ("It's so pretty! We should pull a Guenther von Hagen and plastinate it forever") and was equally happy to get the matching t-shirt.
