Description
It took me 3 minutes to choose the design I want to bake, and 3 days to finish it up. The "Leader" caught my eyes with it's strong features and powerful sleeping eyes. This was a respected leader with some colorful accessories.
Everything was homemade from scratch: The cakes, buttercream & fondant.
His face took a day on it's own. It was made out of 2 cakes (vanilla & chocolate) and covered with fondant. The nick and the hat were made out of one more chocolate cake cut in half. All the time I had the feeling that he will ask for "gum gum" like Dum Dum from Night at The museum lol.
Feathers & accessories were made out of fondant.I made more than 120 feathers in 4 different colors which took forever, especially when I realized that my kids were eating them behind my back! so I had to make more!
Finally he was ready! My hubby , kids and me enjoyed the yummy chocolate & vanilla cake filled with vanilla buttercream and covered with sweet smooth fondant.
