Pandamonium cake by Anthony Nigro

Description

I made everything from scratch. The process took longer then I would have liked but between two jobs I squeezed it in my little free time, just couldn't pass this up! I believe it took about 10 hours. I've always liked the Pandamonium shirt but haven't been able to purchase it because my size is never there(M)! The cake was chocolate (a 1/4 sheet, 6x2" and some cupcakes), and I filled it with bittersweet chocolate mousse and raspberry mousse and frosted it with my famous buttercream. The tanks I made out of fondant. I knew I wanted to do something 3D, which would be a little challenging, because the Panda gradually has to lean forward. I think there are some things I would do different if I did it again, but I know I could now probably do the same cake in half the time it took me. The cake tasted great, I had a piece then I gave it to my brother to take to work where it got mutilated in an office within minutes! "The proof of the pudding is in the eating..."-C.S.Lewis, All in all it was fun and the cake was great!
