The Bull and the Bee

This cake was so fun to do!! I have been waiting for so long, thinking about different designs, but never making up my mind as to which threadcake I really wanted to do. But last week when The Bull & The Bee came out, I just knew it was the one!

My daughter, Skye, and I made our fondant the night before from a tasty marshmallow recipe. Then on cake day I baked the cake, colored the fondant, made some butter cream icing from scratch and decorated the cake.I was so into it I kept forgetting to take pictures! ha!!

It didn't really take that long, once I started decorating. It was so much fun and I am so proud of it! Threadcakes mixes my two favorite things together, www.threadless.com and baking!! There was NO WAY I was gonna miss having an entry in this contest!

Tonight I fed the cake to my family....and they loved it!! So yea!!!
