What's black and white and red all over?
My threadcake!! :) You thought I was going to say a zebra with a sunburn.. well..
So threadless is my favorite place to buy t-shirts. When I heard that there was a contest to MAKE A CAKE, I got really excited. Then my brother also thought that I should make a cake so, we came to the final decision to make "Sad Pyscho" because it fits us both so well! We love horror and chainsaws, it just seemed to fit.
Finally this past sunday when my brother finally pulled himself out of bed and dragged himself to my house. I started baking while he documented. I made a 9x13 devil's food sheet cake. Then generously frosted the cake with homemade buttercream. I used clear piping gel to trace and transfer the image onto the cake. Then filled in the pyscho with white, red, and gray buttercream. then traced the pyscho with black piping gel.
All in all it was a pretty awesome day filled with baking, cake decorating, chilling, and playing nintendo! I can't wait for next year because I'm totally going 3-D... :D
