Fuzzy Wuzzy just wants to be fuzzy

I'm ashamed to say that these little guys were made from a boxed cake mix (I have the kitchen the size of a postage stamp and the humidity is pretty mean this time of year, you'll understand). I made each Fuzzy by stacking two cupcakes, slathering them with Fluff frosting and then rolling homemade fondant (and more fondant) over them.

I cranked up some Wilco and rolled out little fuzzy hairs until my fingers were rolling by themselves. It took me longer than I care to admit, but I think the end result is pretty great. I just hope they never turn up on CakeWrecks.
