Description
My friend and I made this cake together. We used two boxes of Funfetti cake mix (because why not?) to create the rectangular cake and carved out the four different shapes. The pentagon (that doesn't fit in) was made with the section we cut off on one end of the cake. We covered the cake and each shape with vanilla frosting, then covered each part with fondant. The faces and arms of the shapes were made with rolled fondant and buttercream icing, died black. Making the face on the sad little pentagon was my favorite part - I think he turned out pretty cute. We assembled the entire cake long enough to take some photos, but quickly carved out a few slices to eat. Yum!
