I love threadless and I love cake so this competition is a dream. I usual make my cake and frosting from scrap but I ran out of time and had to buy cake mix. But to make up for that I made my own marshmallow fondant. I found this contest 6 days before the deadline so had to work fast. I baked the cake the first night, then made the fondant and then decorated, it took about 3 days to complete everything.
I loved this design and thought it would be perfect for cupcakes. I covered four cupcakes with white fondant then colored,rolled and cut more fondant to make the design. I think it turned out very cute and tasted delicious!
