Pancakes Mountain

Pancakes are a favorite for my family. So I had to try it as a cake. I individually baked each layer of cake, which turned out to be a lot of work. I used a plain white cake, with orange buttercream frosting in between and a white chocolate ganache for the syrup. The trees were made from chocolate clay and the animals and kayaks were fondant. The boulders were chocolate covered blueberries. Overall it took about 10 hours. And the pancake mountain made for a delicious cake.
