I Wish I Were

This cake was so much fun to make! I'm still pretty new at the cake making and decorating process and this was on of my first attempts at using fondant. I must admit I wasn't quite sure how to store the fondant, so making the devil was an adventure. The cake is devils food (I thought it appropriate!) and the icing is buttercream made from scratch. The devil, his hoof- and body prints, and his pitchfork are made from fondant. It was pretty good looking, if I do say so myself. My sister is a graphic designer for an ad company, so when she took the cake to work, they all loved it.
