Super Mega Fun

This cake was 'super mega fun' to make! After many long hours, this ice cream truck came to life! The truck is made out of yellow cake with buttercream icing layers and then covered in fondant. Most of the decals are made from fondant and the rest added with buttercream. The tires are made from rice cereal treats and then covered in icing. The music note and ice cream cone on top are made from gumpaste and secured using toothpicks. I started taking cake decorating classes in February and have been working on cakes every since then. The cakes get more elaborate as I go!
