Everybody Loves A Yeti cake by Daniel Renfrow

Description

When we found out about the threadcakes competition my friend and I were totally siked. It took us a while to find the right design, but once we found the "Everybody Loves a Yeti" shirt we totally fell in love with it. We started working on it right away. We baked a delicious cake. Actually, delicious doesn't do it justice. It was fantastic? No... Delicious times ten. Yeah... it was that tasty. Quite an accomplishment right? After we covered the cake in fondant we sculpted the Yeti and the small child out of the remaining fondant. The Yeti was naked, and quite embarrassed, so we made him some clothing out of some white icing. He thanked us for our kind gesture. When the child and Yeti were fully clothed, and we had placed them on the cake, we realized that we needed to write something on it. We didn't want to just copy the name of the shirt on to the cake because that would have been rather lame, and we are not lame. Since I kind of speak a little french... very little... we decided to write "Je t'aime" on the cake. It means "I love you" in French. Satisfied with our cake, we marveled at it for a few moments before ravenously consuming it.... poor Yeti... Enjoy!!!
