Roses are green, violets are yellow, also, I'm colorblind.

I had an extra marble layer after baking a birthday cake for a friend so I wanted to use it to make a threadcake. I'll admit I stuck it in the freezer until I could do the prep work and get around to it. I made my green buttercream roses and yellow royal icing violets and let them set up for a while. I thawed my cake and added raspberry filling and chocolate basket-weave. I figured the leaves should be red since everything else was switched to their complimentary colors. I've got to say, not being colorblind, I think it looks kinda funny. But I sent it to work with my mom to share with her coworkers and they didn't seem to mind!
