A Spaceboy Retrospective

A Spaceboy Retrospective is my second Threadcake of 2010, and also my boyfriend's favorite design turned into his birthday cake! I had a fun time baking this one - it's vanilla cake with cream cheese icing (with a little bit of sprinkles) topped with painted fondant. I finished the cake over a three day period, squeezing it in between work and classes, it took around 12 hours. It got a little squashed in transport, but I am trilled to say my boyfriend loved his Threadcake Birthday Cake!
