Description
I made yellow cake with mini chocolate chips mixed into the batter. I made my own fondant using a marshmallow recipe. Looking back I should have mixed in the blue coloring while it was still in the mixer. It would have saved me some blue hands.
For the "cookies" I baked a small batch of blondies with chocolate chips mixed into the batter. Once they cooled I used cookie cutters to cut out the shapes. I made the eyes out of gum paste and used toothpicks to secure them onto the cake.
The hardest part was holding back the kids while I took the finished picture!
