Ladies and Gentlebug

The idea for entering this cake contest came from a friend of mine who has entered two years in a row. My husband helped me make the cake. It is a Charleston Chocolate Cake with chocolate icing and a layer on buttercream fondant on top. This was my first time entering the contest and my first time ever making fondant! We started at around 8:30 am and finished around 2:30 pm. The cake was delicious!
