Dreams of Flying

I have always been fond of cake decorating and this seemed such a lovely idea! With the husband out of the country on work, a 16 month old daughter and a full time job, time was a big constraint. So selected a design that would be quick and easy. I did this in 3 days - every evening after I put my daughter to bed.
The design reminds me of 'mehandi' - the art of drawing temporary tattoos in the palms and feet. The cake is an eggless mango cake. Frosting is mango buttercream followed by fondant and royal icing piping.
