Description
What started as a bit of a joke ended up as this cake...
So yeh, here's my cakey interpretation of 'Rabbit Valley' by Cole Blotcky and Andy Cox.
All in all i think it took me about 16 hours to make (spread over two days)
The base layers are sponge cake (cupcakes for the fiddly bits) with a vast amount of butter and royal icing on top. The sun is two cupcakes stuck together and iced :] It's hard to see because things got so busy, but it is made up of two layers (black and pink) with the third being the sun and the serpent thingy wrapped around the middle!
I hope you enjoy it as much as i did, it was great fun! I'm not a master cake maker, just an art student with nothing to do over summer.
And i can't resist a challenge!
