Dandy Lions

My daughter came home to visit and informed me that we HAD to enter cakes in the Threadcakes contest. It never occurred to us to work together, so we each chose a design. When I saw the Dandy Lions, my vision was to have a green grass base with the Dandy Lions 'growing' out of the grass. However, during the execution, gravity won. cake lost. the Dandy Lions slid down the stems onto the cake.

So Plan B was cupcakes on a cake board with piped stems. To add insult to injury, my daughters OCD tendencies resulted in her taking forever and a day to finish her cake, leaving me to do all the washing up.
