Playtime s Over

I baked a 34 x 23cm vanilla cake and once it had cooled i trimmed the edged, made the top flat and then covered it in vanilla buttercream. I covered this in a layer or white sugar paste and then a layer of black sugar paste. I cut the window out of the black layer. The rest of the detail on the cake was airbrushed on. I mixed a dark blue airbrush colour and began building up the detail. I stuck small pieces of sugar paste onto the sky area and then after i had airbrushed the cake I removed them to create the stars. This was the first time I have airbrushed detail onto a cake so I'm quite pleased with how this cake turned out.
