Description
I chose Barrow Bath because I wanted to practice more with making people. I used floral wire and covered them with modelling chocolate and then fondant.
I've made way too much cake lately and its all sitting in the freezer. So I reclaimed some cake from my Dream catcher cake. I trimmed it into the barrow shape and then covered it in modeling chocolate to help keep it firm, then covered in fondant. The wheel and handles were also chocolate covered in fondant.
I painted everything with food colouring (orange, black, teal).
The wheel barrow frame wasn't strong enough to support the cake so I formed a block of chocolate under to support the weight.
My favourite picture is the cut piece of cake with her legs on it ... morbid?
