Hello, my name is Sylwia Szajter-Zió?ek.
I was looking for a design that would be challenging for me. As I've never done a cake modeled in image of the contours, I decided to bake exactly that. J
I made a soft sponge cake . Initially I cut out the shape in 4 parts. I divided every part into layers. Between these layers I put some whipped cream with yogurt, mascarpone and raspberries. It was so tender that I had to do each part separately. I covered them in buttercream. I used one internal dowel in whole and some support straws in the parts. Next I covered each part with fondant and I began to assemble them together. Next I have added and painted details.
Making this cake took me two-and-a-half days. In the last phase of decorating I had a huge headache and felt terribly ill, that’s why in the final photos I look like a zombie… :)
