Hi lovely people!!!
This is my second entry here I did a 2D too.
Those who know me know that I LOVE owls!!! I even got one, my sweet and lovely Nyra that I adore.
When I saw this for the first time I knew that I had to do it!!
I have to say that now it's one of my favorites all times.
I diddn't want to do a very big cake, so I did just a small tray. My kids like my pop cake very much so I did it, but it was not enought...lol so I did a mini cake of chocolate just to do the head.I covered it with sugar paste and I started my feathers marathon... cut, mark, paint, dust, cut, mark, paint, dust...the back and the upper wings have 300 fethers. Than we have the belly feathers, the chest feathers, the rest of the wings, and of course the head feathers.
I thought I would have a dificult time with that belly head... but it turned out fine!
My favorite part was the head, loved it so much that I forgot to take more photos... lol and that halo I enjoy it so much, my kind of puzzle.
After 3 days I can say: I LOVE everything about it!!! I really do!
I hope you like it too!!!

PS: My kids didn't want to cut it (my Dana refused to eat it) and they made me promise that I would do another one to keep...lol
