Test Pattern cake by Tiffany Henderson

Description

First off, this was an awesome cake to make. I had an amazing time doing it. I've never decorated a cake before, so it was an awesome experience. It took me probably 6 hours total to do the cake, but that also included breaks and bake time for the cake. I used plain white cake because I wanted to color it on the inside. Once cut open, you can see that it's a rainbow cake. I did this because I wanted you to get the feeling that not only did the test pattern drip on top of the cake, but also seeped through the cake and change the color of the cake; I wanted to get the feeling that the cake was decorated on the outside AND inside. That's the whole idea behind that. I also made Marshmallow fondant for the covering of the cake and made buttercream icing for it as well. The colors on the cake are just died frosting. All in all, it was an awesome AND delicious cake to make. :)
