Description
This sofa was made from two rectangular chocolate pound cakes. The first one served as a base and the second was cut up to make arms, cushions, and a back, which we fastened to the base using toothpicks.
We covered it in store bought vanilla icing combined with neon food colouring: green for the body, and green, red, and blue mixed together for the face and writing. We added the face and lettering using a chopstick. The entire process was spread out over an evening, but the icing component took nearly two hours. But of course, it was two hours well spent!
