Description
So I chose Dandy Lions, I just thought they were so cute :-) My little lions were made of fondant...took a lot longer than I thought it would originally, but they were so much fun.
Then, I got to try an experimental recipe, Rootbeer cake. I even made my own extract by cooking down root beer to syrup! I filled the cake with chocolate fudge icing and then carved and coated the cake in rootbeer buttercream. I finished it late at night, so I only had the hubby to taste my cake (besides, our toddler will eat *anything* if you tell her it is cake), and we both ended up eating two pieces of cake at about midnight. It was sooooo goood!
