I Like Cherry Flavored Popsicles

Description
As soon as I saw this contest I knew I wanted to give it a try. I'm a novice decorator, so this contest is not about winning (although that would be sweet!) but challenging myself.
It was hard to choose a design. After narrowing it down to three I chose the Popsicles. Maybe I'll have time to submit the other two.
It took 2 nights to make this cake. The first night I made a 9x13 yellow box cake. The second night I did everything else. Carving out the popsicle shapes was pretty easy. Then I cut the eyes & mouth out of red and white store bought fondant. The hard part was icing the cakes, it just crumbled So I ended up smearing the icing on the fondant to stick it to the cake.
Overall, everything went together pretty well and I'm happy with the way it turned out. My daughter couldn't wait to cut into it.
