Description
This cake took the better part of 2 days to make. During this time I alternated between watching Ratatouille (for cooking inspiration) and Iron Man (because Tony Stark wouldn't take any crap from a cake).
The cake is vanilla flavored with chocolate buttercream frosting. I probably ended up throwing away as much fondant as I used because the first batch had the tendency to chemically bond to my rolling pin as I tried to roll it out. These were frustrating times. In the end though, the cake tasted great and was a nice 1am treat! Note the photo with my boyfriend holding up that mini flood light so that we could actually get enough light in our kitchen (at 1am) to take a decent picture...Good times.
