Description

It only took me four days of scrolling to find a design that I felt would be fun, but challenging. Love the chicks red hair too.

The cake is french vanilla with a belt or two of grand marnier, yummy. All of the components of the piece are entirely of modeling chocolate and fondant. The buttercream underneath it all is vanilla as well.

The bird is made of modeling chocolate with gold luster dust highlighting his feathers.

I started on the piece at 8:30am and finished close to dinner time. Hubby, as usual, ate most of the cake.
