Cake Is Awesome!

My boyfriend's birthday was this last weekend, so when I was finished with this entry, we had the cake for his birthday. Perfect timing, right? I worked on this cake over the course of two days. Friday night, I made the gumpaste guitar and baked the cake layers. On Saturday, I finished the guitar using gumpaste and royal icing, and I assembled the cake. The arms and legs were made of fondant. The cake itself is delicious - chocolate layers with peanut butter cream cheese frosting and chocolate peanut butter glaze. Mmm... Everything was edible. Yes, cake is indeed awesome!
