Friday, I'm In Love!

As hard as I thought this was going to be, I think it ended up being one of my favorite Threadcakes projects! The sheet cake is a simple chocolate sheet cake based on my favorite cupcake recipe, and actually was the last thing I made. It took about three days to cut, sculpt, dry, and decorate each day (as well as an untold number of plays of the song). The days are fondant, the people and letters are all buttercream. The cake is covered in a very dark chocolate buttercream.

The pictures of the cutting are from my dad's Blackberry -- he and my mom were so tickled by the cake that they took it to their friends' house for a party!
